Baker Valley, Burnt River, Eagle Valley, & Keating SWCDs
Whitney and her husband live on a third-generation family farm in Baker Valley, which has been recognized for their long history of conservation practices. Whitney has been with the Baker County SWCDs which is comprised of the Baker Valley, Burnt River, Eagle Valley, and Keating SWCDs, for 14 Years. She has been the manager for 13 years and has held various roles with other state agencies and boards. Whitney is a champion for private property landowner rights and believes strongly in the ground up conservation approach; working with agencies to find the balance between, on the ground production agriculture and regulations. Whitney has a strong focus on Fiscal responsibility and board transparency as long demonstrated with the work and objectives of the Baker County SWCDs as well as services performed for OACD in the past. She looks forward to serving OACD as the East at Large Representative.
