I have served the Deschutes SWCD for more than 20 years as a contractor, administrator, and Board Member. The challenges of this past year have been great for our landowners have been overwhelming, with operations impacted by COVID, climate change, and unprecedented wildfires. Yet, this is a time of promise for agriculture. With the implementation of best conservation management and initiatives in restorative agriculture, I believe Oregon can begin to heal and be a leader in healing this planet. And there is no better way to begin the process than support of Voluntary Conservation.

Oregon Association of Conservation Districts is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Oregon Association of Conservation Districts
