My reasons for applying to be on the OACD board is to help farmers and ranchers put the conservation measures in place that I have benefited from. I have seen how much water and power I have personally saved after implementing these measures. I believe OACD and SWCD provide a great opportunity to network with others to become more informed as to what’s available and to share knowledge. I’m grateful for all I’ve learned, put into practice, and would like to continue learning and sharing information. I appreciate being chosen to serve on the board these past few months and have enjoyed being a part of OACD. We must make conservation a priority to stay profitable and in business.
